Yesterday morning I … attended a funeral for an amazing lady.
In the afternoon I visited a good friend suddenly taken ill in hospital.
And I ended the night with a party where the hostess had so many friends she had to hire out a nightclub to fit everyone in for her birthday.
Having seen grieving and celebration, love and loss, and tears of sadness and laughter all on the same day, what struck me was the thought that the best party you'll ever have in your life is the one you're not invited to.
The party where everyone whose lives you've touched come from all parts of the world to share how much you meant to them, talk about how much they loved you and through their tears, tell of how much they miss you.
But you're not there.
How about we take the time to travel and make the effort to see the ones we love and tell them how much they mean to us while they're still here, because if you wait, it'll be too late?
No Life Coach Tool for today, except a suggestion that we grab our phone and text, message or call someone we love and tell them how much they mean to us right now - yes right away!
wishing you the best of days,
