Life Coach, Managing Director
It all started when I was 10 years old.
I found an old LP record in my family record cabinet that I had never heard.
It was Earl Nightingale - The Strangest Secret.
I lined up the LP on the platter, started the turntable at 33rpm and gently placed the needle on the record.
What I heard was a revelation, and my life has never been the same.
It was the first time I had heard someone talk about setting goals, holding on to self-belief and committing to create amazing possibilities for your life.
I wasn't aware of it at the time, but the guy I was listening to was a pioneer in what would come to be known as the "personal development movement" - the direct ancestor of the work that we as Life Coaches do today.
Since then I have held on to the aspiration to be a better person today, than I was yesterday.
And since listening to that record over 30 years ago, I have studied the works of Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, M Scott Peck, Deepak Chopra M.D, John Kehoe, Stephen Covey, Sharon Salzberg, Gary Zukav and Louise Hay amongst others.
I have attended inspirational personal development seminars by people like Dr. Susan Jeffers, The Dalai Lama, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. John Grey.
And seven years ago I completed my formal coaching training to qualify as a Life Coach and joined the International Coaching Federation® - my life coaching website is www.paradigmslifecoachauckland.co.nz
During my work with my clients, I have been struck by the power of coaching to transform people's lives.
I feel greatly honored and privileged to accompany people on their journey toward creating the life they want to be living.
This way I feel I am a positive influence in the world, you might say this is my mission.
And during my years as a Coach and over 30 years of trying to be a deeper, wiser and more compassionate person, I have found and fashioned tools to help people see their life and situation with the "20,000 feet perspective."
That's when you look at the same old things, but instead of looking from the ground, you're 20,000 feet high and can see the "big picture," discover new ways to look at old problems and check out the amazing connections between the events and people in our lives.
This is what I want for you, our customer - to have a happier and more fulfilling life from the insights and discovery that a great life coach tool brings.
I wish you all the best on your journey and hope that the tools we offer here will help you change your life and the lives of others around you.
